This morning is my first lecture class of business communication. When I walked into the lecture theater class, around 150+ students. Oh my god, I was thinking how my lecturer can teach so many student? Isn't she can handle. Class started and the first lesson was talking about business communication and sure we need to know the process and the meaning of communication. Nonetheless, the process of communication involve two role and there are sender and receiver. First, sender has to send a message to receiver though the channel and last need to receive the feedback. While someone hard to understand, it is because of the barriers. What is barriers? Example a lecturer is teaching and a group of students were talking then disturb lecturer and other students cannot concentrate so that's called barriers. Next was talking about verbal and non verbal. Non verbal means body language like shaking your head means "no" shaking your hand means "don't want" or your eye contact. All of this is nonverbal message. Even though you send a message to your freind that's called non verbal too. Verbal is definitely different with non verbal message. verbal is talking face to face. Example like voice call or video call that's also verbal message. So the meaning of communication I will update when I receive my notes because now we haven't receive our note in gmail.
